Mikel Obi sends strong message to Eden HazardHazard

Former Chelsea ace, John Mikel Obi has heaped praises on the Blues star, Eden Hazard following the Belgian attaining 200 Premier league appearances for the London club.

The Super Eagles captain took to his Instagram page on Tuesday to congratulate Hazard ahead of Chelsea’s second leg UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash with Barcelona on Wednesday night.

Mikel wrote: “Congratulations to Eden Hazard on joining me in the Chelsea FC 200 club, 200 Premier League appearances, well deserved.”

Meanwhile, Hazard reached the milestone in the Blues’ 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The 27-year-old has now joined the elite club that features John Terry, Frank Lampard, Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic, Dennis Wise, Didier Drogba, Mikel Obi, Ashley Cole and Gianfranco Zola.

The forward is expected to play a crucial part as Chelsea play against Barcelona today at Camp Nou.
